Biking Errands

One reason for not biking that I occasionally hear is that there's no cargo space. Backpacks can make your back all sweaty with long commutes. So my solution: get a bike rack for your bike!

No, I'm not talking about what you put on your car to tote your bikes around. I'm talking about this:
Axiom bike rack

I believe that this might be the same bike rack I have, the Axiom Streamliner DLX with a 110 lb. capacity although this capacity will likely not be realized on a bike with skinny tires. What can you carry with all that capacity?

Does a value sized box of kitty litter fit?
What happened to the kitty litter?
That's right, I once bought a value sized box of kitty litter and toted it home. It's 28 lbs and I didn't notice much of a difference in biking. Also if you're curious what type of bag that is, I believe that it's a predecessor of the Axiom Monsoon LX. They're waterproof and like my other product reviews, I have no complaints with them.

My preference for shopping without a car usually involves a bike. You can load so much more stuff in bike racks than you can if you were walking and carrying groceries in bags.
